Aging is not an illness. Our approach values the aging experience and provides loving and healthful support through the process. We work closely with everyone involved in the wellness of our residents to create a plan for the appropriate level of care. We support and participate in an approach to care that allows our residents to “age in place.” This approach allows residents to stay in their communities as they age and to stay in their residential care facility as they move through various levels of care.
Our levels of care include:
We utilize Teepa Snow’s experiential training called multi-modal learning, which includes Positive Physical Approach™ and Hand-under-Hand™. These newly learned skills enable care partners to shift from simply dealing with behaviors to creating a positive and caring environment.
We offer fully customized care for our residents and their families with a focus on continued vibrant living through our various programs for all interests. The wishes and hopes of each individual are at the center of all care at our residences. We believe in endless possibilities, potential and vitality for our residents. Our philosophy of conscious aging promotes a new journey that offers residents opportunities to grow, learn, share, thrive, build confidence and become healthier.
On-going care for loved ones can be very challenging for families and we offer a respite program that gives you peace of mind and a much-needed break as well as a place to recover after an illness or injury before returning home.
We also provide supportive, compassionate care to those reaching the end of life, including helping families make timely decisions that respect their loved ones’ wishes and values.
